Angela and Jaime’s Belmont Country Club Wedding

Angela and Jaime’s Belmont Country Club wedding was as if I stepped into a far away fairytale. Everything was simply enchanting from the Paris themed decorations, to the gold and shimmery accents and dark touches of rich purples. But aside from the elements I could touch and see, there was a deeper enchantment that was just as tangible as the rest. Love. Joy. An unmeasurable bond of friendship. Connection. The desire to travel through time and far places to be together. This was and continues to be Angela and Jaime.

They met in Spanish class while attending George Mason University. Jaime proposed in Puerto Rico on the island of Vieques on Black Sand Beach during the Angela’s birthday and to celebrate their engagement they traveled across the ocean again to Paris.

This wedding was truly unforgettable. I think one of the main memories I will take away was the completely outrageous celebration shared by each and every person on the dance floor. Angela and Jaime decided to honor a tradition in their culture “Crazy Hour” in which the bride and groom and guests young and old hit the dance floor with masks, props and off the hook energy. Kalina and Brandon Forest Engagement Session

It’s February and this session is really making my heart ache for some green! What a beautiful time with Kalina and Brandon hiking through the woods and celebrating the awesome journey of love. It was so fun exploring and being adventurous. Extra bonus points that they were willing to brave the brambles and the cold water to get into the thick nature with me. Wei + Brian Inn At Westwood Farm Wedding

Wei and Brian’s Inn At Westwood Farm wedding left more than just pictures behind, it left a legacy that will be remembered and passed on through many stories, many years and many lives. Through out the engagement process, our correspondences resonated how important it was to them that everyone came together, united and having fun. There were many folks who travel across states and a good number even flew across the world to see their union. It was so fantastic seeing families with different languages and cultures, usually separated by oceans, dancing and laughing together.

Wei and Brian are one of the most adorable, corky and breathtakingly beautiful couples you’ll ever meet. They were giggling and being goofy nearly every moment. Whether we were posing for portraits or I was sneaking up on them through the bushes. They met through a mutual friend at Yale University as grad students and were in schools across the street from each other. Brian proposed in DC underneath large trees in the Senate Garden. Which brings me to one of the many reasons they chose Inn At Westwood Farm as their wedding venue, with its many large trees with limbs that embrace light and the country surrounding it. Their wedding was a medley of rustic elegant, natural touches and traditional Chinese decorations. Everything so seamlessly telling their sweet story.

Meghan & Paul’s Keswick Vineyard Wedding

Meghan & Paul’s Keswick Vineyard Wedding was one for the books, folks. Every now and then there are the couples that bring their presence with them. Simply being in the room with them makes you feel closer that mysterious thing we call life. It surrounds us always, tangible yet not in all of its forms. Meghan and Paul know where it’s at. Right in the center of their love, their easy laughter and fun is all of life in its fullness.

They met at “Salmon Night” through a mutual friend at their college. Paul had told her relentlessly that he would not propose to her on Christmas, but in the element of surprise, he sneakily proposed to her on Christmas with her family. And guess what? She said yes!

There are so many lovely details and fantastic talents that were involved in the making of this wedding day. Muted, delicate colors that cascade into elegant dresses and fresh blooms. Sparkly rose gold adorning fingers and feat. The grounds of Keswick Vineyards indeed speaks for itself in all of it breath-taking beauty. Everything felt so seamless as the earth unrolled all around the beautiful arrangements made.

Festivities were delightful to say the least. Delicious desserts as far as the eye can see, lively dancing and stellar music. You guys, if you weren’t at this party… you WISH you were at this party. It was epic, and epic is the perfect word for Meghan and Paul. Congratulations, you two! What a perfect, perfect day.
