Ashley and Matthew chose to be married on a gorgeous open farm in Culpeper, Va. These two are as adorable as they come, and so very sweet. Both Ashley and Matthew are dairy farmers (who come from a family of dairy farmers) and chose to make that very much a part of their wedding day. There were so many fun touches of the country, farm, and anything dairy-related incorporated into the decorations. What fun! I had a hay day (so to speak) observing all of the incredible details of the event. One thing I can say that I felt resonated throughout every moment was personal connection. Everywhere you looked there was the love and support of family, depth of heart and friendship.
Their ceremony began with two rustic doors and was followed by rows of hay bales for guests to sit on. Gorgeous flowers surrounded the ceremony and the bride and groom were met with a hanging window, with pictures of loved ones passed below them. There was hardly a dry eye to be seen during the ceremony. The love and devotion Ashley and Matthew demonstrated towards each other was absolutely radiant. Their joy shone through endless smiles and stolen glances.
The reception was A-mazing. Toasts were given with heartfelt words, roasts, and funny stories. Guests were enjoying their drinks from mason jars and the dance floor was filled to the max with celebration. It was loads of fun to capture; I loved every moment of it.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hardesty! I’m so excited for you two, and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
Big thanks to my amazing Second Shooter Kristen Uhler who greatly contributed to these beautiful images.
